What It Does
Motion Tools Pro consolidates workspace management, expression libraries, easing presets, and animation utilities into a single customizable panel for After Effects. Developed by Motion Design School, it replaces the scattered collection of individual scripts that most motion designers accumulate. The interface is configurable, which distinguishes it from the free Classic version that offers the same core tools with a fixed layout.
Key Features
Easings Manager. Store, categorize, and export easing presets for reuse across projects. Import setups from teammates to maintain consistent motion language on shared work.
Expressions Library. Searchable by property category (position, scale, rotation, etc.). Faster than remembering syntax or digging through old projects.
Share Center. Exports your entire tool setup, including presets and settings, for import on another machine or by a team member. Useful for studios standardizing workflows.
Bake Expressions. Converts expression-driven animation to keyframes while preserving timing. Shift+Click activates a classic mode for earlier expression types.
Crop Comp. Crops specific layers with Alt+Click, including thin lines and 3D compositions.
Social Media Widget. Displays 2025 safe zones for platform-specific formats, so you know what’s visible in different aspect ratios without guessing.
Super3D Widget and Dependener. Spatial controls for 3D layers, and a utility that stretches keyframes proportionally when you need to retime animation.
